LOL. Fortunately for you, romance heroes do not need to be alphas. Relieved?

Whew. That’s a load off my mind.

LOL! No. [CM has edited this entry to remove all mention of her job, which is unmentionable.]

I am pretty much certain that the only thing that could possibly spell doom for your writing career would be for you to stop writing.
Although I do have a librarian’s zeal for alphabetization, I prefer characters that cannot be neatly filed away under a single letter.

Heh. You realize, Courtney, that if you become a Regency author you will never be able to get away from “unmentionables.”
I’m not big on alpha heroes, either. Even my heroes who might at first seem like alphas actually aren’t.

I like reading about them. I just don’t want them in my life.

Some of the best heroes I’ve read are no where near being Alpha’s. Personally, I like a little cat and mouse, which requires SOME level of Alpha in my male. That does NOT mean, however, that I want him to abuse me in any way. I wear pants too. Alphas are only fun to read when they get knocked down.
