Pleasure for Pleasure

ike Tessa, I got my signed ARC of Pleasure for Pleasure and A Little Bit Wicked last night.
I was up until four this morning finishing Pleasure for Pleasure.
No spoilers. But I will say this — when I do say something about the book, it will be absolute heresy, and you shall all hate me.

I can comment!!!!!!!
CM, I got the ARC too. I won’t hate you if you’re heretical. I will say that just reading the back blurb made me feel like I’ll never be one of the cool kids either. I wanted the kind of magic you gave us with TGOS–not to see the heroine get a makeover. Am I wrong?

Oh, my heretical comment isn’t like that. And Josie’s “transformation” was kind of cool — it was kind of an anti-makeover instead of a makeover (I don’t think that’s a spoiler since it’s on the back cover — she loses her corset and becomes comfortable with her real body).
My heretical comment is really nothing more than — well, I liked the secondary hero better than the primary one! I’d take him *any* day.

Oh! Well, big difference! I admit I didn’t read the book. I have a friend who’s a HUGE fan of EJ’s and since I was totally not expecting to get the ARC I’ve got it all packed up ready to mail to her. But now that you’ve approved of the anti-makeover… (insert evil grin)
I admit I was totally thrown by this idea of a makeover. It seemed exactly the antithesis of everything Josie’s character was supposed to be, you know? Agree this topic is not spoiler material, because as you said it’s on EJ’s website, Amazon, etc. However, apparently I misunderstood the back blurb. My apologies to anyone who might be spoiled by my mistake!

Yeah, makeover is a poor choice of words for the blurb. She gets UN-madeover.
And that’s all I have to say about that. Zipping lips.
