Maybe this is why I write contemporary romances... I know too much pop culture.

Let's see... I'm not sure if you know the movie or not but here it goes:

Lay All Your Love on Me is a modern-day Roman Holiday set in South Africa.

I have a hard time with these, too. The only one of the three Red Door novellas I can come up with a good one for is Scandalously Ever After, which is Regency Pretty Woman meets The Deer Hunter. The third one, Sinfully Ever After, might reasonably described as a twist on You've Got Mail, except that there are no letter involved, lol. Wickedly is hopeless, though. Unless someone can think of a movie in which a wicked hero woos the heroine with dirty poetry...

Ugh. I loathe doing movie log line pitches. I totally suck at them. No pop culture expert here, either!

But if someone held a gun to my head and told me to come up with one or else, I'd stammer that my Regency-set historical is like Jane Austen's Persuasion with a dash of Freaky Friday. And The Scarlet Pimpernel. Oy.

I did say I was bad at these, didn't I? :-)

Okay, my second book is definitely something like Taming of the Shrew MEETS Cinderella (Okay, I'm stretching a bit with Cinderella, but she is put to work right)?

Ooh! I actually have a good answer for this one:

Goddess of the Hunt is like My Best Friend's Wedding set in the Regency, replacing sardonic, gay Rupert Everett with a dark, brooding, very straight earl.

Days away! *shrieks*
